This blog is the very first blog that is being created from my new laptop, Terrell. I got my tax refund back and it was weirdly more than expected which at least can balance out my shitty paychecks, right? But the point is, it was enough where I could finally afford to buy a computer which I did not think possible for quite some time still.
This definitely makes me cheerful.
Other new things - I sort of switched jobs. Not jobs persay, just offices so I could have more hours. It was an excellent decision that I have been overly pleased with. I can't begin to explain how glad I am to have made the transition.
- I babysat Pamela's cat, the Bow. It was a learning experience and now I obviously need to get a cat, which if you remember, was my goal for 2009.
- I did get a touch phone. Also very exciting.
That could be about it in new and exciting things.
Yesterday Jason and I met up with two of my co-workers, Jenn and Dan, at The Cheesecake Factory in the South Side. Jason and I had never been there before and oh man, it's pretty delicious. It was really fun, I'm really glad we all got to hang out. Good food and good company always mix rather well.
Now I am awake early enough to have showered, be on my second cup of coffee and have time to fuck around online. I feel this is a start to a good day. Keepin' my fingers crossed.
