We have snow. It's true.

Yesterday, which was Saturday, we got our first real snow of the winter. It was pleasant. The night before Joe had come over to hang with Jason and I and he stayed over due to the snow. So in the morning we had pancakes and then we all made the journey up Murray Ave to do some Christmas shopping and such. It was a fun day. After Joe left, Jason and I had a romantic dinner of Morningstar Italian sausages and collard greens. I had initially been very skeptical about Jason's deep love of collard greens and until yesterday had never had them. I was pleasantly surprised though! They are delicious!
I've watched High Fidelity twice the past week. I have this weird undying love for John Cusack that I can't really explain.
Jason, Joe and I also went and saw The Fantastic Mr. Fox which was awesome. It had a good feeling to it and was all around just a great movie. Or should I say fantastic? Ahahahahah! HA! Okay.
We met up with Claire and Joshua at The Cage after dinner and had a lovely time hanging with them, as usual. New waitress at The Cage though and I don't know if we'll ever come to love her the way we love Glasses and Hoops. No personality from new waitress. We didn't even give her a nickname, that's how unimpressive she was.
Let's see, we have a week until Christmas. I have like 3 Christmas presents bought. I am awesome. I've always been a last minute shopper, it helps me focus.
I will leave you with warm wishes for your holiday season and some pictures of my cats and other things.

I've seen the wilds of Pennsylvania in the wintertime.

We had an ice attack today in good old Pittsburgh, PA. Having just been outside though, I think it's rather peaceful at this point. The streets are quiet and calm and it's not windy or raining or any of that nonsense.
I have to start my Christmas shopping tomorrow. I do like getting gifts for people I care about, I think it's fun. I also wish it was free.
I'm trying to find a new apartment and being quite unsuccessful at it. I think a change will do me some good, though. Not that I'm doing bad, I'm not.
Stressed out, yes. Doing badly, no.
So if you know anywhere in Squirrel Hill that has an apartment for rent for under $600 with heat included and cats allowed, hit me up.
Stay warm.
