We have snow. It's true.

Yesterday, which was Saturday, we got our first real snow of the winter. It was pleasant. The night before Joe had come over to hang with Jason and I and he stayed over due to the snow. So in the morning we had pancakes and then we all made the journey up Murray Ave to do some Christmas shopping and such. It was a fun day. After Joe left, Jason and I had a romantic dinner of Morningstar Italian sausages and collard greens. I had initially been very skeptical about Jason's deep love of collard greens and until yesterday had never had them. I was pleasantly surprised though! They are delicious!
I've watched High Fidelity twice the past week. I have this weird undying love for John Cusack that I can't really explain.
Jason, Joe and I also went and saw The Fantastic Mr. Fox which was awesome. It had a good feeling to it and was all around just a great movie. Or should I say fantastic? Ahahahahah! HA! Okay.
We met up with Claire and Joshua at The Cage after dinner and had a lovely time hanging with them, as usual. New waitress at The Cage though and I don't know if we'll ever come to love her the way we love Glasses and Hoops. No personality from new waitress. We didn't even give her a nickname, that's how unimpressive she was.
Let's see, we have a week until Christmas. I have like 3 Christmas presents bought. I am awesome. I've always been a last minute shopper, it helps me focus.
I will leave you with warm wishes for your holiday season and some pictures of my cats and other things.

I've seen the wilds of Pennsylvania in the wintertime.

We had an ice attack today in good old Pittsburgh, PA. Having just been outside though, I think it's rather peaceful at this point. The streets are quiet and calm and it's not windy or raining or any of that nonsense.
I have to start my Christmas shopping tomorrow. I do like getting gifts for people I care about, I think it's fun. I also wish it was free.
I'm trying to find a new apartment and being quite unsuccessful at it. I think a change will do me some good, though. Not that I'm doing bad, I'm not.
Stressed out, yes. Doing badly, no.
So if you know anywhere in Squirrel Hill that has an apartment for rent for under $600 with heat included and cats allowed, hit me up.
Stay warm.

Dress Up In You

I love this song deeply and finally got the album again. Belle and Sebastian, folks. Love it like I do.
It's one of those songs that I find getting stuck in my head randomly at least once a week.

Weirdly, I wish I could just stay in the rob forever. I love my family. There is nothing more important than spending time with family. I feel so relaxed, let's hope I can keep it up. Here's the lyrics for Dress Up In You so you can memorize them.

I'm the singer, I'm the singer in the band
You're the loser, I won't dismiss you out of hand
You've got a beautiful face
It will take you places

You kept running
You've got money, you've got fame
Every morning I see your picture from the train
Now you're an actress!
So says your résumé
You're made of card
You couldn't act your way out of a paper bag

You got lucky, you ain't talking to me now
Little Miss Plucky
Pluck your eyebrows for the crowd
Get on the airplane
You give me stomach pain
I wish that you were here
We would have had a lot to talk about

We had a deal there
We nearly signed it with our blood
An understanding
I thought that you would keep your word
I'm disappointed
I'm aggravated
It's a fault I have, I know
When things don't go my way I have to

Blow up in the face of my rivals
I scream and rant, I make quite an arrival
The men are surprised by the language
They act so discreet, they are hypocrites so fuck them too!

I always loved you
You always had a lot of style
I'd hate to see you on the pile
Of ‘nearly-made-it''s
You've got the essence, dear
If I could have a second skin
I'd probably dress up in you

You're a star now, I am fixing people's nails
I'm knitting jumpers, I'm working after hours
I've got a boyfriend, I've got a feeling that he's seeing someone else
He always had a thing for you as well

Blow in the face of my rivals
I swear and I rant, I make quite an arrival
The men are surprised by the language
They act so discreet, they are hypocrites forget them
So fuck them too

Day by day.

I love Wet Hot American Summer.

What up? How are you? How are things?

Oh, what about me? WELL......

I guess my real reason to update was to post this picture from Halloween.

We went as Colonel Sanders and Betty Crocker. You can't see it in this picture but Jason has a rubber chicken in his pocket which I feel completed his outfit very well.

Halloween was SO FUN! Claire and Joshua had a party at their household and it was excellent people, excellent food, excellent fun. I was really excited because I had not dressed up for Halloween in a good while. Last year Jase and I had went to Maryland with some friends and had to miss Claire and Josh's Halloween party so YAY we finally made it!

This weekend was sweet. Friday we went to Brillo Box to meet up with one of Jason and Flann's old friends. It was fun but it got REALLY crowded. I absolutely despise the Brillo Box when it gets that crowded. We ended up going to Pandemic, the global dance party, which is upstairs and was slightly less crowded.

SATURDAY we watched samurai movies because we are the coolest people to have ever existed.
Oh, and we also journeyed to the ROB to go to a mass for my grandmother and then stopped over at my grandpa's to say WHATUP. I got to see my wonderful but slightly hookerish sister, Julio.

Today we hit up the Quiet Storm and then took an epic walk where I almost died and then had soup and watched True Blood which is becoming a sometimes Sunday tradition.

I also want to get my hair chopped off. Seriously. Send me dollaz so I can do that plz.

PEACE.

MEGA UPDATE - maybe.

Today is Columbus Day, and since I work for a bank, I have off. Since I have merely a few dollars to my name until the 14th when I get paid, this day off is useless. Well, not totally. I can clean my apartment which for some reason is weirdly exciting. I attempted to sleep in but since my body knows it is Monday I still woke up at 8.

Let me recap things since I have last blogged, I will not recap them in any specific order, chronological time or pretty much anything that makes sense.

Spent an evening hangin with Jason's family, his brother in law provided us with these amazing creations :

Jason and I had a taco night and made delicious veggie tacos via Morningstar Crumbles and since I am a genius we still have another bag and more tacos left for a second taco night. Here is Jason really liking the leftover taco remains :

Stella & Max waged war on my poor, defenseless plant.

I cut my own bangs because I really wanted bangs. This is a picture taken only 5 seconds ago. :

This is also morning hair but oh well, you get the idea. I'm happy with the bangs.

My mother, Jason and I also journeyed to Cleveland to meet my new cousin. Here is a awful picture of me where it looks like I am displaying my new child. :

The baby is Dominic and he is super cute and it was so nice to see my all my family from out there. And go to MARINO'S! Jase and I had portobella sandwhiches and they were so good. I was suprised there was a vegetarian sandwhich on the menu, I was initially semi-worried there would be nothing on the menu to eat. But, success! Jason took the entire day like the trooper he is, haha.

Claire and Joshua went to Austin for a music festival and they are back now and we hung with them this Friday which was spectacular as always and we will see them Thursday for the return of 30 ROCK!

On this previous Saturday we went to Robinson to see my sister off for homecoming. We ended up staying and hanging with my brother, saw Zombieland which was AWESOME and then went to the legion for a bit. Came back home and watched Desperation which was also good.

This week already seems to be getting jam packed with plans so hopefully I can update again with more pictures of awesomeness. For now, I need to refill my coffee and continue being lazy.

Happy Columbus Day!

Hello, fall.

This weekend seemed to be the definitive "hey bitches, it's fall" weekend. The weather consisted of rain and some coldness, but it wasn't the sad sort of cold that the winter brings, I almost enjoy fall's cold.

The weekend was really good, though! Pretty relaxing. Friday was some wine at Jason's with Claire, Josh, Erik and his friend, Sally. That was a fun evening. Saturday it was raining when we woke up so we deemed it a movie day and it actually ended up being a movie sort of weekend. We went to the Quiet Storm for some breakfast & then returned to watch Wild at Heart, which was excellent. We then watched some (2 hours) of a documentary about Japan because we're awesome. Then we went to TASTE OF INDIA for dinner and wandered around the waterfront for a bit before meeting up with Claire & Josh at Rock Bottom. We then went to see the movie "Nine". It was really neat to watch but I guess not all I hoped it would be.

Then we went home & I read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Jason read whatever he's reading( I knew this but currently cannot remember.) and then we went to sleep.

We had bought items for making breakfast on Sunday so we didn't have to go out for breakfast. We watched some more of the Japan documentary & then breakfast happened and for breakfast eating we put on Slumdog Millionaire which neither of us had previously seen & we both really enjoyed the movie and the breakfast.

We then picked up some Mineo's pizza and headed over to Claire & Josh's new home for the Steeler game. This was awesome because Claire is a huge Steelers fan and Josh is a huge Bengals fan. They handled it well. It was fun though, as it always is to hang with those two. Not fun that the Steelers lost, but I was happy for Josh.

SO, that's about it. Today is my first day back at work since last Tuesday, boooooooo.

Here is my closet.
This is proof that I did ALL my laundry. Yaaaaay, me!

G20 Jag-Offs.

I really want the protesters to go home now. They are protesting absolutely nothing legitimate. I don't think they even know what they are supposed to be opposing. How does destroying small, local business's windows/property support anything about their cute little signs against CAPITALISM and the CORPORATE GIANTS?

I want to go to their cities and destroy their local diners and businesses. I don't even like Pamela's, but it still pisses me off.

The peaceful protests are fine, great, super. People are more likely to listen to peaceful protesting. When you start messing with our city though, people are not going to react kindly. Especially a city like Pittsburgh, where mostly everyone who lives here harbors an intense pride for it.

Now, there is speculation that some of the places vandalized in Oakland were actually done by Pitt students. That's sad, because yeah we all know you're drunk, unruly college kids and maybe you aren't from here, but still. That's just plain old embarrassing. Oh, haaaay rest of the world, the college kids in Pittsburgh really love to embody the whole "meathead" stereotype and be destructive at any given chance, but DAMN those protesters! They drew on the street with CHALK in front of POLICE. Ha...ha....ha..

It's always a disturbing sort of wake up call when you see what people can act like in these situations. Most of them just need a hard slap in the face, a shower and perhaps someone to love them.

Quit it with your hippie bullshit.

I always forget how boring it is to be off of work. Especially when everyone else is either working or trapped somewhere else due to the G20.

I did wander around a lot today, which was nice. I also did some cleaning and hung with the cats.

I was trying to feed Jason's cat, the Bob, since he is staying at his parents in order to make it to work ontime due to unforseen traffic issues. Weirdest thing, I cannot get his door open. It's driving me crazy. I guess my key doesn't work as I refuse to believe I am idiot to the point where I cannot open a door I have opened many times before. Ah well.

Last night was epic grocery shopping.

It had been awhile. I am so incredibly stoked to have food. I bought the Morningstar crumbles so we can have a veggie taco night in the near future, which I am SO excited about!

In case you were wondering, I did finally get two new dresses on Modcloth and I am very excited.
Here is one. It's calm in the front, but there is a party in the back.
The other one does not seem to be on the site anymore, so you will have to live in curiousity until I debut a photo of me wearing it, perhaps.

I also REALLY want these shoes :
They are fantastic.

Alas, that's enough daydreaming for now. I am going to go take another festive walk around Squirrel Hill. Despite the humidity, it's still a nice day. Maybe I will run into some protesting anarchists. One can only dream.

Also, here is a hilarious photo of Josh, Claire, myself and Jason at Irishfest where it looks like Claire is touching Jason's crotch and Josh's hand is in Claire's beer. None of these are actually true. However, it makes for one amazing photograph.

Lataaaaaaaaa.

I reminded myself all the words you said.

Hi!
The G-20 madness has started to happen in our beloved Pittsburgh. I'm cool with it mostly because we're closed three days, uncool with the feeling of insanity that rises slowly up through the afternoon. Working for a bank does not help. Ah, well. One more day and then VACATION. Sort of. I really have no idea what I will do, other than laundry. Lame.

My cats are hilarious!

I am so tired today! Work went really fast so that was sweet like candy. I think I'm going to go to bed at like 8:30. I need to learn how to knit so I can successfully transform into a 90 year old woman. I'm stoked.

I want regular internet so I don't have to worry about it going out all the time which causes me to have to write these entries super quickly and not proofread. I do apologize for any errors, I just never know when the connection will drop.

Tomorrow is movie night with Jason and Flann and likely Vegan Dave. I like movie nights. I like wine. Mmm. Maybe I will take pictures and blog movie night. There's an idea. I really, desperately need a new digital camera. Mine has the amount of pixels that my cell phone has. Hahaa, I think that's so funny.

If my bank gets destroyed by violent protesters then I bet I'll have a lot more time to blog.

Peace out.

Being rugged.

This was most likely one of the best weekends I have had in a really long time! Most likely because nothing was actually planned, we had NO obligations, we were free to do whatever we wanted. What an incredible feeling.

Friday evening we decided to grace The Cage with our presence and we were very happy to be joined by Andy! It was a really fun evening and nice to get to chat with Andy.

Saturday we decided to go camping, it was one of those things that was very sporadic and we weren't sure we were really going through with it until we were actually on our way. It was maybe the most fun I've had in a solid 3 months or so, haha. We were originally going to head to Raccoon State Park but Jason's mom told us there were apparently a lot of G-20 protesters staying there so we headed out to Ohiopyle with no general directions, which made for a pretty hilarious car ride there. By the time we found it, it was still relatively early in the day, which was nice. You had to hike a couple of miles to get to the campsite and it was definitely not easy. It was incredibly rewarded to finally have made it to the campsite though, I was glad that I was able to push myself far enough to not collapse dead on the trail. Jason is a champ though, I tried to put on his backpack when we got back to the car today and I seriously couldn't even lift it off the ground. Ridiculous. He's like a super hero.

Anyways, we put all our stuff down and then went to see where the water we heard was coming from. This involved scaling some rocks, which was also weirdly fun to do. There was a sweet little stream running right below where the campsite was, I liked it. It was nice to hear the sound of it. We then came back and gathered firewood and set up the tent and then Jason morphed into Dude Dudely and built a sweet fire and we ate some food and drank some wine.

Sweet fire :

Tent :
Foodz, veggie combo and Morningstar Italian Sausages which are NOT easy to cook over a fire, FYI. :
Vino :
We were SO EXCITED because we brought instant coffee to have in the morning, only to find after making it, that we had accidentally bought Decaf. I think we both were on the verge of tears, it was a very emotional realization.

After we left the campsite Jason showed me a natural waterslide and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. It's too cold to go on it now, but we decided next summer we will do it. Here it is! You can see Jason wandering in the background.

My internet keeps going out so I'm going to post this quickly!

Suprise!

Hi, Guess what?

I am not dead. What actually happened was that since I steal my interwebz, it disappeared for like 2 months. I did not get internet otherwise because I don't like to pay for things. However, miraculously, it is working again, at least for now.

SO, I got two kittens! Jason's wonderful aunt gave me them after they had been rescued from the side of the road where their mother had been killed by a car. Sad, sad.

Meet Max and Stella!

This is Stella.
Here is Max.

They are hilarious.

So, Jason's cousin and our very dear friend, Ryan has left us and America(fuck yeah) for France. This is sad because we love Ryan and miss him very much. However, I'm glad he's doing something awesome.

Here is a picture of me crying, in case you have missed that.

Here is a picture of me not crying.

That picture may have been on the blog before at some point, my memory fails me.

We recently saw District 9 and loved it, I think everyone should see it. A couple of months back we saw The Decemberists in concert and it was incredible, I also recommend doing that if it ever comes your way.

If my internet continues holding out, I can buy something from Modcloth, which may have been the most painful part of not being able to get online. Just till tomorrow, internet! Payday!
Must go now. I am very busy.

Don't look at me.

The previous entries that I just deleted of jibberish were my attempts at blogging via my cell phone. So I guess that's not going to work out.

After my immune system collapsed I have been attempting to be more awesome. Everything has been pretty good, minus one day of pure insanity, but you have those here and there. A cousin of mine got married so myself and Jason journeyed with the fam to WEST VIRGINIA for the wedding. Oglebay to be specific. We stayed overnight for no real reason. I went swimming in my clothing, ruining my bra. On the way back we went to Cabelas which is quite possibly the only reason my dad lives. He loves Cabelas. I thought it was slightly horrifying. I will include some photos from the wedding.

It ended up being fun. Exhausting, but fun.
This week was pretty good minus Monday. Tuesday I met up with Claire at The Cage for a happy hour attempt only to find out happy hour isn't on Tuesdays there! Lame! It was a good time though. Wednesday I did nothing. Thursday I met up with Kate, also at The Cage and we also had a very good time. I was walking home and it started thundering and lightening and I was only like halfway down Murray so I panicked for a second but then I spotted a bus and jumped on it so I did not die, which is a plus. Yesterday Jason and I both had hateful work days, we had some wine (I had one glass in the time he had three because I am not a fast wine drinker, APPARENTLY) and then we met up with Claire, Josh, Pat(Claire's cousin) and Joe and two random people at The Cage, and it didn't actually occur to me until right now that I spent my entire week there. Oh well!

I don't know what's happening today, but I hope next week I see the Pam. If she's not busy horseback riding or bicycle riding. Or maybe going to church? Ahahahahah!

Oh and The Decemberists are coming!! I'm happy about it. I need to get tickets.

The Collapse of the Immune System : A Poetic Retelling

Hey Bloog. I mean that extra "o".

I haven't updated for a long time but it's because, if you could not judge from the title, my immune system, which for the past 5 years has been like a solid fortress of healthiness and power, has fallen from these graces it once bestowed.

I first became very ill Monday and then did something on Tuesday that I had not done in a very long time, called off of work due to my death-like state. They were understanding as I had looked and acted much like a zombie all Monday anyways. Wednesday I tried to go to work but they said NO and made me go to the doctor. Doctor was useless, gave me some vague diagnosis and random medicine to take which I am not taking because I'm quite sure she did not listen to anything I said. Thursday and Friday were a lot better, but still was not feeling like my usual magnificent self. Friday night I was finally feeling normal, Saturday night realized I had obtained cold from boyfriend after my small cough started increasing in it's frequency and strength. Jason thought I had a fever. I probably did. Today I feel really good mentally but physically my throat is starting to hurt and my nose is getting runny and I keep sneezing. He claims this cold only lasts a few days but we have to take in account that my entire immune system has seemingly went on strike.

I have even been drinking orange juice! That usually always saves me! Oh well. So, that's what's up, interwebs.

Haircutzzz.

Before & After

I was going to go shortish but chickened out. It's hard to see what it really looks like via a cell phone photo but whatevs. If you hang out with me you can see it IRL and maybe I will let you touch it.

I'm watching Nancy Drew currently. Clearly not paying much attention to it. I want coffee but I think the coffee maker here is broken. Noooooo.

My broseph got me the first season of Pushing Daisies, never seen it but have heard good things. I'm always excited for something new to watch, especially if it's a first season and I can watch it all in one night. I've also been catching up on my Gossip Girl while home. It's wonderful.

I am going back to Squirrel Hill tonight, I miss my bed!

The hazards of love.

Hi. I'm 25 now. I feel a significant difference. A definitive view on life that just wasn't there before.

That's not true.

My birthday was fun though. Jason took me to The Harris Grille for dinner and then we went to The Cage of course. It was a really good night even though we stayed out really late and I confused myself as to what time it was when I woke up the next morning and accidentally went to work an hour early. Do these things happen to other people?

So, this is my vacation. This includes being in Robinson for three days and doing massive amounts of laundry and today I'm getting my hair cut and colored!! I'm excited. I don't really know exactly what I'm planning on, but I usually just give my hairdresser a general idea and let her do whatever.

Last night we had my birthday dinner here because my real birthday was in the middle of the week so I didn't come to my parents at all. It was a nice dinner, just my fam and Jason. My mom got me a gift certificate to MODCLOTH!!!!!!! Thanks for fueling my obsession, Mom!

One of the thing Jason got me for my birthday was The Decemberists newest cd "Hazards of Love" which I have been talking about wanting since it came out but never actually purchased it. Anyways, IT IS SO GOOD. I've been listening to it non-stop. You should all go buy it.

Being off work is really boring. I'm bored. It's only Day 2 of no work. I'll update later when I have a new haircut and no one knows who I am.

Saturday, April 25, 2009

I remember when it poured and you sang to me in summer.

Dudes,

It's been awhile. I've not been super busy, more just super exhausted when I get home from work. There's been a lot of late night caging and hang outs going on. It's been a good time, I can't complain.
We watched the Pen's game at Silky's last weekend. Here is some photographic evidence of that.

The day of my birth will also be arriving soon. FOUR DAYS. I celebrated early by ordering these sweet items via Modcloth, if that's surprising to anybody at this point.

If anybody wants to step in and tell me I have a problem, I will recognize it. Ignore it, but recognize it.

I'm not sure what the deal is for birthday time. The weekend after it, Jason and I are planning on venturing to Wilkes-Barre, PA. This is exciting. For us. I'm not sure if this would excite anyone else. I don't really care, it's really just another day. I just like an excuse to get dressed up. Not that I ever really need excuses since I do it all the time anyways.

Following that weekend, I have an ENTIRE WEEK off. My current plan is for a haircut and color on that Tuesday. I'm so excited. I don't know what color I'm going to go with. Probably darker. I miss my hair being darker. Other than that and spending some time with the fam, I don't have anything going on. So hollllllaaaa.

I also love The Dan Band which is the dudes from Old School that rocked out Total Eclipse of the Heart aka best song in existence. I just realized it's actually a real "band" and not just a movie thing. I spent about 30 minutes watching their videos on Youtube and crying with laughter.

Alright, it's too nice to sit inside forever and blog. I did just set up some sort of blog thing on my phone but I don't know how to use it, so don't get too excited.

The end!

Tuesday, April 14, 2009

And it's Tuesday.

Coming soon to a Gina near you :

Somehow shopping on Modcloth just makes the day feel so much better. Today wasn't really bad. I just hit dwell - mode. Wonderful.

Monday, April 13, 2009

I wish I'd stayed asleep today. Thought this day would never end.

Sup Blognation?
It's been busy recently with all the obligatory family time surrounding the Easter holiday. I have also been extremely tired. I didn't realize how exhausted I was until I lost patience with every person I came in contact with at work today.
Family time was nice though, it was good to see my fam and Jason's.

Friday night we went to the Brillo Box. Jason and I went a bit earlier and had dinner there, it was delicious. I like the food there a lot but there is just not enough. haha. Lots of friends joined us later on and it was fun. We went to the BBT briefly afterwards and that was okay. Brillo was better, though. It was a very late night and Saturday was even later. I think we accumulated roughly 5 hours of sleep the entire weekend. This may be a slight exageraation but if so, not by much.

I took no pictures and I'm sad about it. I wanted to and I had my camera with me, but I totally forgot. Boo.

I don't know if I've mentioned this, but I'm obsessed with the smoothie bar at GNC. You should try it. I've been attempting to cut down on the ridiculous amount of coffee that I consume everyday. I could never quit coffee though, it's too important to me. ILU coffee.

I think I've run out of pictures of Bob to end entries with. Of pictures that are on my computer anyways. I'll have to take some new ones. Sorry.

I'm listening to The Get Up Kids and it's glorious.

I get paid tomorrow so get ready for more Modcloth obsessing. :)

Tuesday, April 7, 2009

Why?

Snow? Ew.

Today was decent. I had a smoothie. It was awesome.

I'm going to take a nap. And a shower. Not at the same time, though.

I love my bed.

Monday, April 6, 2009

O Valencia!

I just erased my entire blog because it was really pouty and lame.

The moral of the story is, don't drink wine alone and listen to songs that have tons of emotions attached to them.

Listen to The Decemberists, instead!

I have a stuffed bear, like think real looking bear, not teddy bear. His name is Woody because I got him when my family was on vacation somewhere in some mountains and we were in the woods. Anyways, I like to sleep with him when I'm not feeling too content. We're going to cuddle this evening.

And hopefully manage to fall asleep! No more music and it's time to focus on sleep. Because the faster I sleep, the faster this night ends.

Weekend recap.

Hi hi hi hi.
This weekend did not start out very promising. On Friday after I ate lunch at work I felt super sick and I actually left early. It was awful and involved the longest bus ride home ever. I don't know if it was what I had for lunch but it sucked hardcore.
I was supposed to go to dinner with Jason, Tim and Kate and Jason's co-worker and her bf but I had to bail. I felt really bad.
Jason came over after and we watched some Twilight, mocked it and I just sort of laid around being useless and not feeling well. Sorry, Friday night and Jason.

Saturday though, I felt a lot better. We journeyed to Robinson where I got my remaining stitches out from the wisdom teeth spectacle (finally all done!) and then hung at my fam's for awhile and visited my Grandpa. Jason and I then had dinner at the Bocktown Bar and Grille and then met up with my broseph and his bff at Pizza Paleremo for some brewskis.
We then headed to Brillo Box and hung out there with Erik for the remainder of the evening. Ran into Jeffrey and Lou which was neat. I wore a sweet outfit because you have to when you go to the Brillo Box or they don't let you in. (jk)

Today we had breakfast at Casey's Diner (enormous veggie omlette from there may be my fave breakfast item) by my place and then headed back out to Robinson to have dinner at Jason's parents house which was pretty enjoyable as well. Now I am home and feeling good and ready to kick this weeks ass.

I was nervous that I would not feel well all weekend and didn't think I could handle another weekend of being an invalid. So I am super glad that I only didn't feel well on Friday night.

I didn't really take any pictures this weekend but here is a pic of the setup from Thursday night which was really fun.
Pizza came later. Jason, Claire, Josh and Joe all came over and hung out. It was a very fun evening.

I want a new bedspread. Any advice on where I can find a super sweet one? I checked out Urban and Ikea's sites but didn't find any to my liking.

Goals for this week include but are not limited to : laundry, room cleaning, quality Jason time, actually cooking food instead of buying it, no online shopping until the 14th, making various appointments(I really need a haircut), twittering as often as possible and obtaining the movie "Jurassic Park".

Wednesday, April 1, 2009

Thanks for coming out today, sun.

I got my shoes from Modcloth today and I'm so excited. They are beautiful.

I also just made some delicious foods. It was awesome.

This is what I look like in the lunchroom. After I eat lunch.

I'm not very exciting today, sorry. But yesterday was an awful day and today is not awful but my stomach is quite unfriendly and throwing a few tantrums here and there. So all I really want to do is go see my bf for a few and then go to sleep. Which is what I will do.

I'm still obsessed with Twitter. Oh! I didn't even show you the shoes I got!

They are for reals even cuter in person. I squealed out loud and said "I love you!" to them when I took them out of the box. I really did do that.

The paycheck I just got is my bill paying paycheck and the next one is the spending paycheck and I'm dying because Modcloth is putting all these new cute things on the site and I cannot buy them yet. It's torture.

Okay. Well, time to go. Early work day tomorrow, gross. I do get out at 4 though, which does make it a little better. Hope you are enjoying the nice weather if you're in Pittsburgh!
